"Lower" Cregoe Street

"Lower" Cregoe Street

7 March 1960

"Lower" Cregoe Street - long since gone - on the site of what became the park and is soon to be the new park. To the middle of the picture at number 43 is J. Hobday the fruiterer. Further down at number 51 was the shopkeeper Charlotte Heath and at number 53 a Meeting Room.

This picture is from the junction with Great Colmore Street. The Woodman pub and Lee Bank Community centre would be directly to your right diagonally behind you.
